Fahrtwind Team

Born in 1970. As former member of the German national cycling team and MTB trendsetter, the qualified spinning instructor with a keen interest in naturopathy is a highly dedicated manager of Fahrtwind. He organises all Fahrtwind adventures and accompanies many of them. Thanks to his calm and collected ways and his extraordinary choice of routes, each and every tour with him is guaranteed to be a special experience.

Born in 1964: Sonja is a real all-rounder in our team. The specialist for fitness / reha and constructed therapist in mayroflex leads our FAHRTWIND ®-Camp at Samerberg. Organisation and communication of your personal tour will be done with all of her devotion and motivation.

Born in 1969: Because of her friendly an funny nature it´s alwas a lot of fun in the agency with our studied architect. At corporate functions and events with kids she shows her organising ability with a lot of humor!

Born in 1975: Since 2007 Hildegard supports Sonja, Anschi and Christina with the FAHRTWIND tourcamp. The learnt office clerk and accountant doesn´t only loves  numbers either she demands with enormous condition and motivation as fitnesstrainer (B-license), spinning instructor and DSV-Nordic Walking trainer her groups. Each free minute she crosses the alpes with her specialzed bike also.

Born in 1970: Corss-country skiing and the time he has been an elite- bike-amateur build the base of his condition. Since then the learnt exercise instructor handles every distance easiely and is to encounter at numerous Transalps. Italy is his passion and that´s the reason why he speaks italian also.

Born in 1973: The likeable officer spends his leisure predominantly on his bike. As a formerly marathon runner and exercise instructor in athletics and spinning, he brings his authority in beeing a bike guide in our team. His motivating and certain nature allocates him not only at our tours!

Born in 1964: After numerous Transalps the learnt MTB-Guide (DAV) makes his hobby to his job. His passion for mountainbiking and his love to the mountains is motivating and elating at excess tours and Transalps, as well as on bike handling seminars.

Born in 1968: „....and a day without smiling is a loosing day“ – this motto will be with you at every tour he guides! Since 2007 the straightforward and friendly guy compounds this guide our team and brings a lot of Know-how. As registered skiing instructor he leads the skiing school  Top On Snow in Rosenheim, is DSV- instructor countrywide of SV-Inngau, certificated mountain- and air-rescuer, writer and assistant lecturer (Ski Alpin) of TU München, mountainbike instructor and multiple member of Transalp Bike-Challenge. With his skiing school Top on Snow he is our official partner of the Ski-FAHRTWIND® - programms.

Born in 1961: The trained MTB-Headman (A), MTB Exercise Leader* and DAV-Skihighmountaintrainer is also a strong assistance for the hole team since 2007 and already he is so questioned, that he is booked by his fan base for the hole comming season. He does numerous Transalps and you can find Christian also in the Dolomites as well as the Brenta Tour. His sovereign relaxed nature and his dry humor allocate the uncomplicated guide you can count on in every situation.

Born in 1974: Our physical therapist of the german snowboard national team (olympic games 2006) also coaches mountainbike pro´s at the Transalp Challenge of the hole world since years. He knows what everybody is thinking or fealing - equal if first-time user or professional. His winning and friendly nature as well as his tour know how in the alps makes every tour to a real adventure.

Born in 1978: 5 years ago she began with her passion for mountainbiking at a cottage tour with FAHRTWIND - since then there wasn´t a mountain too high and no Singletrail too hard to handle! The sports medicine specialist elates for planing and arranging trainings. Since last year Nicole guides Transalp- als well as cottage tours and leads bike handling seminars. The Austrian catches with her unbeatable driving pleasure and infectous heartiness.

Born in 1981: Born in Bremen, who likes beeing in the mountains the most, had done racing bicycle sport originally. Here he can look back on a successful career in the two bigest teams of north germany, which he left in  2006 because of his engineer study. As a likable and a guide who is always in a good mood he supports our FAHRTWIND®-Team since last year, on the mountainbike as well as on the racing bicycle.

Born in 1981: The guy from the Oberpfalz had found his passion for mountains and extreme sport very early. So he made a dream come true and moved to Garmisch, to do snowboarding activly. Since then he serves every free minute to bike across the mountains and to explore new trails. He is a chummily type and is realy funny. In the Fahrtwind-team you can find him at Transalps, Dolomite tours and the Trans Sierra Nevada.

Born in 1969: The mountainbike fanatic from Ötztaler, also called Ötzi, spends naturally his hole live in the grounds. In summer he guides Transalps lika a trained hiking leader and in winter he is on expeditions in the Andean of Southamerica, in the Himalaya of nepal and in Pakistan. With his special charming nature he developes, als well as over constraints to motivate everyone. His favourite are challenging descents.

Born in 1989: He is a member in the Craft- and Friends-Team and did many stage races like the Craft Bike Trans Alp. As a skiracer and skiing teacher the outgoing Bavarian could gain a lot of experience with handling groups. His adventure and alpine experience of numerous extreme Transalps he brings in our team. With his easy and outgoing nature the scholar is always in a good mood.

Because of his brilliant expert knowledge and with his friendly nature he has been applicable building the in-house bikepark with his team. Born in 1986: Since 2011 Florian compounds our Team. His bike talents are really diversified, so he commands almost all bevels of bikesport. His bike career startet in the Dirt scene, where he added the corner stone for his extreme good bike handling; now the young allrounder is one of our most competent trainer at bike handling seminars and Freeride tours. The teambiker of the A-line shop in Rosenheim traines the BMX-drivers of the BMX assoscioation in Kolbermoor as well as the guide colleague in the Fahrtwind-team!

Born in 1969: The outgoing guy from Biberach has his second home in nepal since 1993. By now he leads an agency with highest experience asccount in Kathmandu. In adition to our Himalaya tours he attends together with his nepalesian wife a bikestation in Kathmandu as well as a sowie ein relief project in one of the poorest areas of nepal. Because of his long lasting experience of the bike- and travell branch every of our journey will be haunting with his team.
