In addition to our most popular tour, the Trans Italy with the mountain bike, we now offer a characteristically special roadbike trip on the same route.
We will cross through Italy in a way which few people can imagine: without masses of tourists and motorcades. Beautiful country roads with mountain passes free of cars guide us to desolate, seemingly medieval villages in the vast plateau of the Gran Sasso. The giganitic boulder of this nearly 3000 meter high mountain is enthroned by the facinating plateau of the Campo Imperatore, stretching to a distance of almost 30 km. Endless pastures dominate the scene, framed by enormous rock formations. Herds of sheep, wild horses, ancient chestnut trees and olive trees accompany us until we reach the pulsating metropolis of Rome.
